Cilex becomes a strategic partner of Futurpreneur

Gatineau: January 14, 2019. – Cilex and Futurpreneur recently signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement for the benefit of young entrepreneurs across the Outaouais region.

On the one hand, thanks to this Strategic Partnership Agreement, the Start-Ups of the Cilex incubation cohort which have successfully completed the Momentum Program and have met the Futurpreneur selection criteria will be eligible for accelerated processing of their application for $15,000 in Futurpreneur Canada Start-Up Funding according to the rates and conditions of the latter. Such an accelerated processing will make it easier for the entrepreneur to access this financial leverage, thus avoiding the traditional, longer and wearisome process.

On the other hand, if companies prefer to use the Futurpreneur Canada Funding and the Business Development Bank of Canada Co-Financing (total amount of $45,000), they will have to apply to Futurpreneur Canada Business Start-up Program and submit themselves to the requirements and standard application process of the latter. Cilex is also at the service of prospective companies to support them in this operational process.

This Strategic Partnership Agreement is now active and Cilex is currently recruiting its entrepreneurs’ cohort until January 25, 2019. The first companies chosen to benefit from this $15,000 accelerated funding will be announced in the upcoming springs season. For companies wishing to avail themselves of the $45,000 funding, operational support is ongoing (there is no application deadline).
